Catherine Chambers was born is South Australia and brought up in England. In college, Catherine studied for a degree in African History and Swahili. She loves books and worked in publishing as an editor. For the last 20 years, Catherine has written both fiction and nonfiction children’s books. She really enjoys writing biographies and about history and geography—and likes to turn everything into a story. Catherine has lived in northern Nigeria and Portugal, as well as in Britain.
