Biography:

The first time I can remember getting wildly excited about colour was in kindergarten when I got to sit in front of - and play with - a kaleidoscope of paints and crayons. It was the moment I got hooked by the possibilities and the joy that colour can bring and ever since it's felt like I've had colour in my veins. I've spent over two decades immersed in the world of colour and finding answers to my endless curiosity around why colour can influence us to feel, think and act in certain ways. After years of research, working with global brands and businesses and teaching professional colour courses and workshops - and becoming a leading expert in the field along the way - I know without a doubt just how incredibly powerful colour is as a tool to create positive change in our lives! That's why I wrote The Little Book of Colour, so that you could hold in your hands a guidebook for how to use the psychology of colour to transform your own life, with no experience required! I wanted anyone to be able to pick up this book and discover simple ways they could grow their relationship with colour in their everyday lives. Because I'm on a mission to start a colour revolution - I want everyone to know what a magical tool colour is! And now that the book will be translated into 12 other languages (and counting) we are well on the way. And it's just the beginning. I've got some exciting projects in the wings to gather together colour lovers from around the world, including some new talks, workshops and The Colour Club, which will be a guided journey of self-discovery into all things colour in 2020! I can't wait. But ultimately, with all the work I do, my deepest wish is that you fall back in love with colour again and use it to express yourself more fully, to enhance your wellbeing, and to experience more joy in your life!
